I'm not saying that the "Never again" mechanic is completely trash but I feel it's somewhat (lack of a better word) Immersion breaking. He fought those horrors and can see that they all bleed, yet he still refuses. Then again, as I said, this is coming from the view of a god manipulating my Crusader into hell. Why is it so different than anything else. He has banished legions of undeads, drove peglic horrors back to the depths, cut noxious giants down to size, and ripped the barbaric beast men into unedible bacon strips. My Crusader has went hell and back all over the place. I want to rebut it with the question "Why is it so different.?" While I truly understand why it makes sense. Grindy.īack to the original road, I hate the fact that heroes would outright refuse to delve back to the darkest dungeon. Because I too love this game as do many others, I want to make it more fun and less. It's lore is great, combat is fun at many times, and the art style fits perfectly. As the title saids, I wish to discuss about the Never again quirk that developes when sending heroes into the darkest dungeon.
